Online Application and Issuance of EODC at DGFT Portal

Online application for Export Obligation Discharge Certificate “EODC” for Advance Authorisation and EPCG Scheme may be submitted at DGFT Portal

Advance Authorisation closure application may be submitted with data validation or without validation route while EPCG closure application may also be submitted online at DGFT Portal without validation.

With Validation Route : With Validation Route means cases where complete dataset such as Shipping bills, Bill of Entry, E-BRCs/ GST Invoices / Bill of Exports/ Tax Receipts etc is available in online system.

Without Validation Route refers to cases where data Such as shipping bills /Bills of Entry /E-BRC etc are not available.

For cases wherein physical files are submitted for redemption to DGFT Regional Authorities, License (AA/EPCG) holders may submit ‘EODC status update applications’ at DGFT website for further processing.

If certain documents require physical submission, Authorisation holder would still apply for redemption on DGFT portal (without validation). Regional Authorities on examining the case shall accordingly undertake correspondence with the applicant using DGFT portal.

EODC issued online would be electronically transmitted to Customs ICEGATE System in near real time for closure of corresponding Customs bonds.

It has been further directed through the Trade Notice that no EODC would be issued manually or through any legacy IT system (LEMIS System) with immediate effect.

Updation when EODC Status is Wrongly reflected at DGFT Portal

In case authorisation is closed/redeemed and the status is incorrectly reflected on the website, exporters are required to upload the copy of the closure/ redemption letter against the said authorisation, through the following
